"1 And He began to teach again by the sea. And such a very large crowd gathered to Him that He got into a boat in the sea and sat down; and the whole crowd was by the sea on the land. 2 And He was teaching them many things in parables, and was saying to them in His teaching, 3 “Listen to this! Behold, the sower went out to sow; 4 and it happened that as he was sowing, some seed fell beside the road, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 And other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil. 6 And after the sun rose, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away. 7 And other seed fell among the thorns, and the thorns came up and choked it, and it yielded no crop. 8 And other seeds fell into the good soil, and as they grew up and increased, they were yielding a crop and produced thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.” 9 And He was saying, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”10 And when He was alone, His followers, along with the twelve, began asking Him about the parables. 11 And He was saying to them, “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God, but to those who are outside, everything comes in parables, 12 so that while seeing, they may see and not perceive, and while hearing, they may hear and not understand, lest they return and be forgiven.”
The Parable of the Sower Explained

13 And He said to them, “Do you not understand this parable? How will you understand all the parables? 14 The sower sows the word. 15 And these are the ones who are beside the road where the word is sown: when they hear, immediately Satan comes and takes away the word which has been sown in them. 16 And in a similar way, these are the ones being sown on the rocky places: those who, when hearing the word, immediately receive it with joy; 17 and they have no root in themselves, but are only temporary; then, when affliction or persecution arises because of the word, immediately they fall away. 18 And others are those being sown among the thorns; these are the ones who have heard the word, 19 but the worries of the world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for anything else enter in and choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. 20 And those are the ones which were sown on the good soil: they who hear the word and accept it and are bearing fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.”

Jesus is here again by the sea and a large multitude has assembled before him. He continues his highest priority proclaiming the kingdom of God. As he has said before this is why I came for (John 18:37) He uses a boat as a podium to sit and be apart from the people by doing this it allows him to be pushed or shoved in the middle of the crowd.

He was teaching them many things by parables. (The Greek term for this word) is various kinds of figurative and analogical language. Or (the English term) refers to stories from everyday life that illustrate spiritual truths.

A call for attention is given by the Lord he said to them LISTEN he makes a Demand to listen this calling is beyond the ear and is of great supreme importance. Spiritual attentiveness is needed and spiritual discernment. LISTEN what I have to say.

The sower went out to sow. the sower is God and the seed is the word that goes into the world. let's notice in the ancient world the common way of sowing required first to scatter the seed everywhere and then plow it. God sows his word without distention as the word says He makes his sun shine for the just and the unjust ( a common Grace) he gives his word to people without interest in it to hostile man. is the choice of the sower to do it and the purpose is to save his people. His word will not come back void but it will do his perfect purpose at his appointed time.

The first seed is sown and fell along the way. the seed is being left exposed to the hungry Birds to Satan's lies. for example. one of his lies is that there is no God and that the ultimate goal in your life is your happiness. Success will come by personal effort and self-reliance. These lies snatch the seed and devour it because there were no deep roots only there was a thin layer of soil above the ground.

Another part fell in the stony ground where there was not enough deep soil This seed sprout germinated quickly at the same time the rocks above the ground prevented it from establishing a deep root with not enough moisture so the sun scorches and withers them. This is similar to a person who receives the word with gladness for a time this description is like when an evangelist makes a call to people They rush to the altar, raise their hand, make a commitment, and profess faith full of excitement, emotionalism, and joy but then the next day is a normal day as usual just simple excitement this is the reason why it withers and die no place in the heart to hold the root and grow in faith.

Others are sown among the thorns these have an initial effect but the stressful concerns and anxiety that life challenges can bring enter the heart. the intoxication of this world, riches. These things enter into the heart and flood and choke the word and become unfruitful. we must be careful not to share this world's outlook and live by his values. cherish its cravings or pursue his goals guard the affections of the heart with vigilance.

In this parable, a great truth of the mystery of the kingdom of God was given he referred himself to two kinds of people those with ears to hear and those that cannot hear for those who pay attention gladly. for those who receive his word and genuinely obey the Lord's teachings will find real meaning. their understanding of God's truth will increase BUT those with No ears who ignore and show no genuine interest in Jesus' teachings will see no meaning they will continue in spiritual darkness and will become darker and their stone-stubborn heart will become more hardened because they are opposed to Him and do not appreciate His teachings and they will remain in their sins and are unforgiven.

The seed was sown in good soil this good soil made the seed grow and bear fruit abundantly 30, 60, and 100 fold. this is a life change the result of a true transformation. The believer who bears fruit Does not conform Himself to the mold of this world but on the contrary, is transformed through the renewal of his mind. He knows the will of God. He is also a participant in afflictions and tribulations. He does not faint easily although his outer man (his body) wears out the interior (His spirit) is renewed day by day through the mercy and abundant grace of God. his behavior and obedience is sincere and true in the presence or absence of men, knowing that the eyes of the Lord are upon him. this man is concerned and occupied with his salvation. There is fruit in him. He also recognizes that all gifts and fruit in him are given and produced by God himself because he gives the will as the doing for his own good pleasure.

Jesus came to save sinners. Sinners repress the truth and hide in their darkness because they love the darkness, they are vile, foolish, rebellious, haters of God who are lost in their condemnation and will be judged and sent to hell where they will burn for eternity in the lake of fire.

When you die you will face judgment for your sins by God. God is just and cannot by His nature abide by sin nor dismiss it. Because you have adopted the ideologies of this world and the doctrines of men, become slaves to your sexual desires, perversions of the flesh and mind, who rebel at the created order of God and stand condemned to death and destruction and are destined for eternal punishment in the lake of fire.

But God so loved His creation, Mankind, that He sent His Son Christ Jesus who can forgive your sins and restore you whole again, for He has the authority and the power. Jesus brings life to all who repent and believe. For Jesus bore all our sins; He bore all the sins of all who believe in Him.  He suffered the totality of God’s Wrath upon Himself on the Cross which every sinner deserves so that those who believe in Jesus may have peace with God. Jesus has risen from the dead, conquering death, and lives. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life and He is in your midst with us, come out of the darkness as we proclaim the light of His salvation.
